Islamic Quotes
Peace and blessings be upon you, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ
Allah Almighty says in the Holy Qur’an:
فَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِهِ وَعَزَّرُوهُ وَنَصَرُوهُ
And in another place He says:
فَآمِنُوا بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَالنُّورِ الَّذِي أَنْزَلْنَا
(Surah At-Taghabun: 8)
✺ Translation (Kanz-ul-Iman) ✺
So believe in Allah, in His Messenger ﷺ, and in the Light that We have sent down, meaning the Holy Qur’an.
From these blessed verses it becomes clear that first it is necessary to believe in Allah Almighty, and then to believe in the Noble Messenger ﷺ and to honor and support him. This is also a requirement of faith.
The Noble Messenger ﷺ said:
“None of you truly believes until I become more beloved to him than his father, his children, and all people.”
(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 15)
From this blessed hadith it becomes clear that love for the Noble Prophet ﷺ is a fundamental part of faith. Until a Muslim loves the Messenger of Allah ﷺ more than his life, wealth, children, and parents, his faith cannot be complete.
If a Muslim does not have complete love for the Prophet ﷺ in his heart, then even his good deeds—such as prayer, fasting, and other acts of worship—cannot perfect his faith.
Every blessing in this world has been granted by Allah through the grace of the Prophet ﷺ.
If the honor of the Prophet ﷺ is insulted, how can we remain concerned about our own honor?
Allah Almighty says:
وَعَزَّرُوهُ وَنَصَرُوهُ
Meaning: Honor the Messenger ﷺ and support him.
From this it becomes clear that showing respect and reverence for the Noble Prophet ﷺ in every way—belief, actions, words, deeds, outwardly and inwardly—is necessary; rather, it is part of faith.
Similarly, the Qur’an states:
وَاتَّبِعُوا النُّورَ
This “Light” refers to the Holy Qur’an, by following which the hearts of believers become enlightened, the darkness of doubt and ignorance disappears, and the light of knowledge and certainty spreads.
Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh Ali Hujwiri (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) writes in his famous book Kashf-ul-Mahjoob that on the night of Mi‘raj, the Noble Messenger ﷺ reached such a station of closeness to Allah that if he had not been concerned about his sinful Ummah, he would not have returned.
On the Day of Judgment, when even parents will leave their children and those spouses and children for whom people gather lawful and unlawful wealth in this world will not stand with them, on that day the Messenger of Allah ﷺ will pray and supplicate for the forgiveness of his Ummah.
Alas, O Muslims! What has happened to us?
Can we not even raise our voice once for the sake of our Noble Prophet ﷺ?
Can we not at least send a message in protest?
Our scholars should also raise their voices on this serious matter and awaken the Ummah.
When will we wake up from the sleep of heedlessness?
Will it be when the enemy completely overpowers us?
Or when we have already gone into our graves?
Just as the armed forces of Pakistan protect the geographical borders of the country, similarly, as Muslims it is also our duty to protect our ideological boundaries.
As Muslims, we have the relationship of being followers (Ummah) of the Noble Prophet ﷺ. To strengthen this bond of faith, it is necessary that every person plays their role according to their ability in this sensitive matter.
Therefore, to support the religion, it is also necessary that through our words, actions, and writings we convey this message to the rulers:
As Pakistanis we may tolerate your weak policies, but as Muslims we will never tolerate the protection of those who insult the Prophet ﷺ or any delay in punishing them.
Therefore, all friends should record their message through their social media accounts and raise their voice.
Jazakum Allahu Khairan.
